Sam isn’t evil. Nor is Sam abusive.

Sam is scared. Sam is guarded. Sam is wounded. Sam has no self-confidence. Sam isn’t used to being loved like Carly or Freddie is used to it.

I´ve been rewatching almost every episode of iCarly, specially after iOMG (when we finally know that Sam Puckett loves Freddie Benson).

And I have to say: THERE IS NO WAY they do not end up together in the end of iCarly. There are direct and indirect reasons for this.

Some direct reasons:

Sam jealous or anger about every girl (Shelby Marx, Gibby´s cousin, and others that I don´t remember now) Freddie shows a little crush (including Carly, as we see in ISYL and iSD).

Freddie knows Sam better that Carly alomst every time (iOwe you, iBeat the heat). Freddie cares about Sam (iReunite with Missy). Freddie thinks that Sam is “pretty hot” (if Melanie looks pretty hot in iTwins, Sam also can look pretty hot, cuz “They are twins!!”).

So forth.

One indirect reason:

In iPilot Sam says to Freddie that Carly never is gonna love him, in iGo to Japan she thinks Freddie should give up of Carly.

If Sam is never gonna date Freddie, all this dialogues were meaningless (or, as I usually say, crap). They demonstrate that Sam is concerned about Freddie´s relationships.

And there are no meaningless stuff in TV shows.
